Our purpose is providing service to the community. Our focus is literacy and our major project is the restoration of the
library in Oceano. This is also known as Project Educate. The grand opening of the library will be October 22, 2005 and will coincide with Make-A-Difference Day for our club. We are also involved with the Oceano Bookmobile, the Julia Blanket Project and many other community projects.
Our primary fundraisers are a Rummage Sale in August and the Tee Off with Altrusa Golf Tournament on May 6, 2006. |
